Birthday Festivities!!!

Noah's birthday party was last Saturday. He was amped up all day and didn't nap because he was so excited. In attendance:
- Maddie (& family)
- Stella Dot (& family)
- Eli (& family)
- Liam (& family) - Noah's friend from school... he talks about him almost every day on the way home from school
- Elizabeth (& family)
- Savannah (& family)
... and of course Nana and Grandad - Grammy and Papa couldn't make it since Grammy's back is still thrown out. We are hoping she'll get better very soon!!!

Nana and Grandad came early to help set up and his friends started arriving at 3:00. Eli and Cole let us borrow their bounce house and we got a new bigger pool. The kids had so much fun running back and forth between the pool and the bounce house.

Here they are taking a snack break -- from left to right:
Maddie, Liam, Noah, Elizabeth, Stella Dot, Eli
(Savannah and younger siblings not shown)

Noah and Eli are two peas in a pod!!

This is a great shot that Evia got!! :-)

(and Nana and Andrea in the background)

At one point, the kids knocked against the side and disconnected the pump and the bounce house started deflating. It was hilarious. Tim got it blown up quickly but when we went to check on them, Eli and Noah were screaming and Elizabeth was in there with a huge smile on her face!

A family shot. At this point, Noah was really tired. Apparently, at one point, Noah went up to Grandaddy and said, 'I should have taken a nap'. :-)

The big kids decided they wanted to join the 'babies' in the ball pool
We ordered BBQ and hushpuppies from Smithfields and had nuggets and some yummy side dishes for dinner. The kids weren't too interested in eating though.

Present opening was craziness. Noah was ready to open them all day and the other kids were excited about watching, too. Noah got so many great things! His friends were so generous.

Lots of Cars stuff for a Cars theme party!

At one point, all the kids were crowded up on me and Noah so I had to pull out some games to get them back in line! :-)
The cake!

Noah blew out the candles and then fell into the cake!!

After cake, more play time for everyone. We even pulled out the cornhole boards and the adults played, too!

The little ones in the ball pool

Nana and Grandad stayed to help clean up (thanks so much for your help!!) and read Noah a few stories before bedtime. He went down very easily.

This is how Daddy ended the night...
It was a big day but everyone had fun.... especially our big 3 year old boy! I still can't believe he's three!!!
(the rest of the weekend and this week's update coming soon...)
