Thanksgiving Weekend

So, Noah officially has two teeth!! I can't believe he had them come in this early. Waylon and I looked at our baby books and I didn't get teeth until I was 9 months old but Waylon got his first two right around 5 months. So I guess Noah is following in Daddy's footsteps so far! The sleeping is still a little disrupted but it's getting better. I think the teeth are finally all the way through the gums now, so hopefully he's not hurting too bad. You still have to open his mouth to really see them well, but very soon they will be all the way in and obvious when he smiles! How fun.

Thanksgiving weekend was a blast!! We went to Grandma and Papa's house... my dad has decided that he wants to be called Papa because he really wants to be Papa Ooo Mow Mow. :-) Thanksgiving dinner was, as always, so yummy. Following tradition, our family friends, the Smids, came over for dinner and afterwards we played Balderdash. Noah did very well and enjoyed meeting everyone!

Friday was a nice relaxing day. We took Noah out for a walk, bundled up because it was very cold. We walked down to the school where I went to elementary and middle school and played on the playground. Noah went down the slide (on his back obviously!) a few times which he really seemed to enjoy!

Saturday was our traditional Seafood Feast (Christmas celebration) with my dad's side of the family. Noah got to meet everyone and enjoyed all the action - until the end of the day when he told us loud and clear that he had had enough! :-) We had so much food as always and it was so good!!

We left early Sunday morning to drive back to NC. We were concerned about traffic, but we managed to miss it so that was great. We even stopped at Nana and Grandad's house to visit briefly before coming home.

Seger was in a new kennel for the weekend where the dogs get to play for 5-7 hours/day. He was exhausted and FILTHY!! Waylon had to give him a bath last night. He was basically a totally black dog since all his white fur was covered in dirt! :-) Seems like he had a good time though so that's good.

As always when we are with Grandma and Papa, we get TONS of pictures so here are a bunch more!
