And here's the update for Memorial Day weekend! We took off on Friday morning and drove out to Asheville. As soon as we arrived, the guys took off to the bar and the girls went to Megan's room for chocolate covered strawberries and champagne compliments of her dad. We hung out for a while and then took off to the rehearsal. I tagged along with Anise to help in whatever way I could. So I played DJ and photographer. :-)

After the rehearsal, it was off to the rehearsal dinner at the Grove Park Inn! Wow. I had never been there before and I wish I would have taken more pictures of the grounds cause it was amazing. I did get a picture walking in...
And yet another happy couple! :-)
Megan got Anise a Kate Spade bag for being her wedding coordinator and Anise was beside herself
Wedding day was busy. Megan, Jennie and I helped Anise with set up while the guys spent more time at the bar. :-) It was fun though and we got to have a sneak peak of Megan before she walked down the aisle.

At the reception
After the reception, a trolly took us downtown to continue the celebration. So much fun!
It was a very late night Saturday night so we didn't get much sleep and the drive home was tough, too. We were very happy to get home to our kiddos around 2 or so. They were napping when we got here so we were able to relax a bit and hear about their weekend from my parents. They had a great time - went to the Durham Life and Sciences Museum where they have a Dinosaur Walk so Noah was obviously beside himself about that. They also spent some time at the pool and just had so much fun. My parents left their pictures from the weekend so I'm planning to get some of those pictures on here in a new post soon, too cause they got some great ones. I think they were pretty tired and ready to get on back to MD - they left soon after the kids woke up on Sunday afternoon. My mom hadn't been home in a week and a half!
On Monday morning, we ran some errands and then after the kids got up from their naps, Nana, Grandad, Andrea, Sean and Savannah came over to celebrate Nana's 60th birthday which was the previous Friday. We all went down to the pool together and then came back here to grill out for dinner. So fun!!
A fun night to end a fun weekend. Back to work yesterday so it's been typical weeknights so far. Tomorrow should be fun though. We are planning to have dinner at the pool with some neighbors after work!
