Our Adventures with Noah and Kylie: A better week and LOTS of plants

Noah's attitude has gotten much better in the past week. That was definitely a rough week we had! Interestingly, he had a rough day at school this past Monday. I think he's just testing the waters to see what he can get away with.

Last week, my two coworkers and I who went shopping together just happened to wear matching sweaters that we all bought together at the same time. Jenn and I had the same sweater and Deirdre had a different sweater in the same color as Jenn's. :-) It was pretty funny so we had to take a picture.

Here are a few cute pictures of Kylie from the week. She's so sweet! She had a few sniffles in the past week but seems to be getting over it. She's eating all sorts of foods these days and even using a sippy cup and eating puffs. She acts like she's trying to crawl but Noah didn't crawl until just before he walked at 11 months, so we'll see what happens! Still no teeth for her either. I guess she's following my footsteps in the teeth department (I got my first two at 8 months - Noah and Waylon got theirs at 4 months).

Noah is officially potty trained (even at night!) and his new favorite thing to do is to go outside. We've tried to tell him that we only do it in private in our own back yard but he's already tried to go out front. :-)

On Friday afternoon, Megan and Ryan came over to visit again and we enjoyed lots of time outside! Noah helped Kylie with her bottle. They are so sweet together and love each other so much. I love watching them.

This past Saturday was a big day. Waylon's mom came over to babysit the kids in the morning while Waylon and I went shopping for plants - lots of plants. We finally got a plan for the back yard and we spent the day getting 67 plants! We got 14 in the ground on Sunday and the rest we plan to do this weekend (my parents are coming to watch the kids and we are hoping to finish it all by Saturday).

We all spent lots of time outside which was lots of fun and ended the day with a nice family walk. Kylie got pretty relaxed drinking her evening bottle while we were out.... :-)

Sunday, Waylon and Noah went grocery shopping and I got another great shot of Kylie.

After they got home, we started the sprinkler for the first time this season. Noah had a blast playing in the water and Kylie had fun watching her crazy brother.
