So here's the weekend in review....
Last Thursday, Tia (Maya's mom) invited us on a tour of the Carnivore Preservation Trust. It was so much fun - lots of toddlers checking out some really cool animals! It's been a while since we've seen Maya so that was fun to catch up, too (Amy, Tia, and I were in prenatal yoga together so the kids have 'known' each other for a long time!). :-)
Look how close the tigers were!!
Wow.
Amy and Stella Dot
After the tour, we had a picnic lunch.

Then it was time to head home. How cute are they!?
So tired.
Friday was Stella Dot's 2nd birthday, so we headed to Mellow Mushroom for dinner. It was interesting to say the least. Noah was quite the handful for some reason. He was sitting with us at first but threw a fit just to sit with the girls. Then it was just one thing after another - water spilling on the shirt, throwing things, screaming, trying to hold hands when the girls didn't want to (I think we are in trouble), etc etc etc. We had to take him outside for a break twice. Phew. Luckily, it's a pretty loud restaurant and obviously the parents we were with understood our pain so it was okay.
Notice the shirt - we gave up on the water issues obviously.
Check out how Maya is just looking at him like he's crazy. :-)

After dinner, we went outside and let the kids run wild for a while. It was so cute. They were running back and forth from one parent to another giving them hugs. This made up for all the trouble at dinner. We tried to get them all to sit for a picture but this is what we got. The birthday girl was too busy. :-)
The rest of the weekend was jam packed with errands and house stuff. We got Noah's new room painted - ORANGE.... very ORANGE. It's really cute, though and he loves it!! I can't wait to get all the furniture and get him moved in to his new big boy bed and room. We are shooting to have it ready for him by his birthday - July 2nd.
Waylon and I had a date night on Saturday - Waylon's parents came to babysit and Noah loved that as usual! They went out to eat dinner and played outside - Noah's absolute favorite! Sunday morning we had a quick playdate with Maddie to pass the time - running around the backyard and chasing bubbles. Then Sunday afternoon we headed to our pool for the first time this season. It was fun and we definitely need to do that more often. Noah loved it. The pool has a 0 degree entry (like a beach), so it's really easy for Noah to play in it. Very fun.
And like I said, tomorrow we are headed to the beach, so we are really excited. My parents are on their way into town now and we are getting all packed and ready to go!
Hope you all have a great weekend, too!!
