Another Fun Weekend

This past weekend, Julie and Ali flew from Maryland to come meet our little man. They are friends of mine from high school - actually, I've known Julie since 6th grade and Ali since 9th! We had a busy and very fun weekend.

They arrived on Saturday morning. That afternoon, we all went to introduce Noah to NC State tailgating. Saturday was the first football game and Waylon was super excited. We ate North Carolina barbeque and enjoyed a few cold beverages... well, Noah's drink was more like body temperature, I'd say. :-) Here are a few good shots from the tailgate.

Ladies Man:

Sunday was the day without Noah. It was the longest I've been away from him in a day. That afternoon, Julie, Ali and I went to see the Bodies exhibit and shopped around Southpoint Mall for a while. That night, Waylon's parents babysat while we all went out with Cory, Jennie, Dave, and Megan for dinner and drinks. I missed Noah a lot, but it was fun to get out without him some, too.

Waylon and I have very few pictures of us as just a couple anymore... here's a good one from last weekend...

On Monday, we had lunch at Sammy's - a bar and grill near NC State that Ali's cousin owns. After lunch, we took Ali back to the airport. Julie stayed until Tuesday. We were tired from a big weekend and just relaxed the rest of the afternoon. We took her to our favorite little Mexican restaurant that night. Noah and I took Julie back to the airport on Tuesday morning. What a great weekend!!

Here are a few good shots of Noah with his visitors! Thanks, Julie, for all the great pictures from the whole weekend!

Noah and Ali:
This morning, Noah and I went to our first Mommy and Me yoga class at Namaste Yoga Center. It was a lot of fun! Noah really enjoyed the interaction and was actually pretty good throughout the class. He got a little fussy at the end of class but only because it was nap time, so he just fell asleep!
My prenatal yoga teacher, Mandi, is teaching the class. It's been fun to get to know her and the other girls who were in the prenatal class with me. We've all been keeping in touch through our blogs and emails. It's nice to have new friends in general and even better that we all have kids about the same age.
Here's one last cutie patootie shot of Our Little Noah!

Your four-month-old son is adorable. Oh, wait...I mean, two-and-a-half -month-old son! He's huge! But you aren't. You look like you are getting back to your old self. Good on you.
